Welcome:

In opting for mediation, couples can sever their marital ties without the anguish and animosity created by litigation, thus avoiding unnecessary depletion of their emotional and financial resources. According to the Wall Street Journal of May 14, 2004, "An ordinary divorce that might drag on for months and cost each spouse $30,000, can sometimes be worked out with a mediator in three sessions for as little as $750."

If you are contemplating divorce or are already involved in seemingly endless court proceedings, consider me as your family law mediator. As a lawyer with significant prior litigation experience in the Rhode Island Family Court system, in addition to years of successful mediation experience, I neutrally guide parties to the equitable resolution of issues for an uncontested divorce proceeding. My mediation training includes Harvard University Law School Insight Initiative: Mindfulness and Mediation, 2004; Institute for Dispute Resolution, Seton Hall University Law School, 1996; Program on Negotiation, Harvard University Law School, 1995. I am a member of the New England Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution and a member of the Rhode Island and Louisiana state bar associations.
